Along with the sheer entertainment of watching Bill Engvall and other celebrities in a bowling tournament, we will present a $10,000 annual award to a nonprofit organization to help strengthen its business infrastructure and advance excellence within the organization. Previous recipients, Hope Alliance, WBC Opportunities, and Samaritan Center for Counseling and Pastoral Care, have used this award for board development, staff training, audit support, and technology infrastructure; traditionally items that are so necessary to effective operations, but difficult for agencies to fund.
Additional proceeds will support the Community Investment Fund that supports local education, income and health initiatives. Click here for a list of agencies and initiatives that currently receive grant support from United Way of Williamson County.
