More than 175 volunteers joined us for our annual Day of Service honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We applaud the hand-raisers and the game-changers who took time on Monday, January 15, 2018, to serve their community alongside family, co-workers, and friends. More than 175 volunteers marked the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday by participating in United Way of Williamson County’s Day of Service on January 20, 2014.
Volunteers of all ages joined together with hundreds of thousands of others across the country who participated in this National Day of Service. More than 450 volunteer hours were donated back to Williamson County during this annual event.
Since H-E-B was founded in 1905, the company has always make people a priority; people and the community matter to them.
That commitment was evident once again at the 2013 United Way store coordinators thank you lunch on October 23, 2013. Held at the Mueller - Austin 30 store, representatives from across Central Texas gathered to celebrate another record-breaking campaign year. Partners raised more than $1.17 million for people in need across Central Texas.
A welcome weather system accompanied by cooler temperatures and scattered thunderstorms didn't stop 175 volunteers from participating in United Way of Williamson County's Day of Caring.
Thank you to all the volunteers, made up of individuals, families and groups from many local employers, for coming together to brave the elements and complete projects at 19 locations across Williamson County!

Comedian Bill Engvall joined several celebrity guests including Bobby Bones, Lunchbox and Carlos from 96.7 KISS-FM and Georgetown native Tera Hampton of HGTV Design Star, former MLB All-star Jeff Kent, and ESPN radio host Sean Adams to raise money for United Way of Williamson County and honor his sister, Janet Engvall McTigue, former Executive Director of Georgetown Area United Way.
